The gym will be CLOSED on Monday, May 31st, in observation of Memorial Day.

Beginners and veterans alike are encouraged to attend our CrossFit 101 this Saturday at 1100, where basic concepts and philosophies behind CrossFit and Fitness, and certain how’s and why’s of what we do and why it works (and why it’s so awesome) are covered.  CF101 was created to indoctrinate incoming On-Rampers to CrossFit and our beloved gym, while simultaneously exploring operational models and methods that we don’t have opportunities to explore during classtime (with the hope of making it stimulating and worthwhile for veterans also.)

I was doing research for "benefits of good morning training exercise" and I found wikipedia helpful (copy& paste): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good-morning . I can’t wait to try them.

I did the Fran workout this morning at my local Gold’s gym. I didn’t know what a thruster was so I had to google it. I thought it was a pretty good warm up for what I did later at home. I popped in a P90X DVD and did half an hour of kenpo followed by 45 minutes of Core Synergistics. Looked in the mirror afterwards and damn! my abs are looking GOOD for summer. See you foolz on the beach!

oh yeah. Fran time was 2:39.

D says:

Bizarro Zeb, you are delusional and annoying. Also, I heard there is a rehab program for P90X addicts. You may need to consider attending that program. Just saying. BTW: Your abs don’t even look all that good.

I did today’s work out in NYC at their "black box"…. SO lame compared to Paradiso. No music. No cheering. No time clock. No fun. Also, it was horrible doing the work out in 95 degree weather with 100% humidity. It makes me realize MORE how amazing our gym and trainers are! I miss you guys!
